Reports to: Associate Director Marketing, Market Access & Strategic Accounts

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA (Hybrid) or Remote

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Marketing - Market Access will be responsible for partnering cross- functionally on marketing strategy development and execution of the materials, tools, and services to support market access, product acquisition, reimbursement, and transition of care-including provider, office staff, patient, payer marketing resources and communications.
Specific Duties:
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of all marketing plans and tactics related to:
    • Provider and office-staff access marketing including coverage navigation, prior authorization process, and reimbursement pathways
    • Consumer and patient access marketing, including education materials, patient coverage, and out-of-pocket cost communication
    • Payer marketing, including clinical and economic value story communication
    • Marketing support for the patient access team (e.g., hub and reimbursement teams)
  • Support additional healthcare provider and/or account marketing needs, as required
  • Collaborate with the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) to ensure that all brand- related materials meet requirements for accuracy with product labelling
  • Execute all tactics in alignment with brand strategy in a compliant manner
  • Manage the corresponding marketing budget for tactics under your responsibility, driving timely, cost-effective execution
  • Generate customer insights through monitoring of the market, participation in market research, attendance of industry events, meeting with customers and interactions with internal stakeholders
  • Proactively recommend new marketing initiatives and improvements in line with the brand strategy
  • Actively contribute to the yearly strategic brand planning exercise and development of the plan for area of responsibility
  • Build strong, trusted, collaborative relationships with key functional teams such as Market Access, Trade, Patient Support, Sales, Business Operations, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Legal & Compliance and Regulatory
Skills:
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, operate independently but collaboratively, and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-evolving situations
  • Effective management of agency partners to deliver high quality content and tools to effectively support the brand
  • Robust knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical market dynamics and stakeholders, including payer, HCP, and patient coverage and access dynamics
  • Strong understanding of the compliance, legal and regulatory pharma landscape, and ability to navigate through it
  • Proficiency in AI tools and emerging technologies, with experience applying them to optimize workflows and/or support data-driven decision-making
  • Willingness to travel 15 to 30% of the time for industry events and meetings with key stakeholders
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or a combination of marketing and related experience (e.g., market access, sales, market research)
  • Experience with specialty pharma brand(s) with complex acquisition processes
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Proficiency with marketing operational tools and systems (e.g., Veeva PromoMats)
