You will
- Review monthly financial packages of allocated properties
- Review year end CAM/Tax reconciliation
- Work with auditors on year end audit or review engagements
- Review financials report for partners
- Supervise, coach and mentor accountants while working cross functionally with property management, asset management, leasing, and finance
CASH MANAGEMENT
- Review monthly/quarterly cash position of properties to ensure accurate reflection of forecasts
- Review distributions and funding requests prepared by accountant
BUDGETS/FORECAST
- Review annual property budgets
- Review quarterly forecast for properties
OTHER
- Assist with property acquisition/disposition
- Support financial systems implementation and enhancement
- Challenge existing processes to enhance efficiency and automation
You have
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, major in Accounting, or a diploma in accounting is required
- A CPA (CGA, CMA or CA) designation is required
- Experience with Yardi voyager is preferred
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- 8+ years of accounting experience at senior level in property management accounting
- Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment with tight closing deadlines and meet internal and external reporting deliverables
- A willingness to learn, great time management skills, and a high degree of energy and work ethic
- Strong working knowledge of complex recovery models and lease interpretations
- Exceptional interpersonal, Oral, and written communications skills

Pay range: $125,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
