Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering leads the design, construction, and program management of logistics centers and large-scale automation projects, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and driving project milestones while liaising with cross-functional teams.

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering oversees the development of construction documents and specifications, ensuring compliance with design intent and managing prototypical and historical standards for assigned projects, including and not limited to Distribution Centers. This role involves continuous innovation and development of internal systems and processes, focusing on safety, security, and compliance with relevant building codes and corporate requirements. Coordination with stakeholders, consultants, and construction teams is essential for resolving project-specific design opportunities, directing procurement lead times, reviewing change orders, driving project schedules, and managing construction activities and design costs tracking and forecasting.

Relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams are managed to ensure high-quality project delivery. The Senior Manager also manages a diverse portfolio of onsite construction projects, collaborating with internal business units to minimize operational impact. This includes communication and adjustment of timelines, material procurement coordination, and ensuring construction quality aligns with design specifications.

The role emphasizes continued education for technical skill enhancement and individual development. The Senior Manager acts independently in complex projects, establishes risk levels, trains contractors, and models company culture through effective communication and dispute resolution. Execution of business plans involves identifying operational needs, removing performance barriers, and supporting continuous learning.

Managing program resources includes identifying needs for additional project management, leading selection processes, and providing supervision and development opportunities. The Senior Manager also handles construction budgeting, tracking, and forecasting, partnering with contractors and consultants to ensure accurate pricing and resolving contractor claims.

Qualifications
  • 8 to 10 years experience in industrial engineering, construction management, or related field

The pay range for this position is $109,400.00 - $150,480.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
