Full Job Description
Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Operations to own day-to-day execution of a defined area within the Allen digital print workflow. You will supervise production staff and shift leads, hold the daily schedule, and enforce quality standards on the line, working within the standards and programs established by the Director, Digital Production.

You will report to the Director, Digital Production and work closely with Pre-Press, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to keep your area of the operation running smoothly. The right person combines hands-on production leadership with the discipline to hold a demanding daily schedule and develop a strong front-line team.

Responsibilities
  • Run day-to-day production. Execute the daily digital production schedule for your area, keeping print-ready files moving through the workflow to finished, inspected product on time.
  • Supervise the floor. Directly manage production staff and shift leads - assign work, monitor throughput, and step in to resolve line issues as they come up.
  • Hold quality on the line. Enforce existing QC standards and inspection checkpoints for your area, and flag recurring defect patterns to the Director for process changes.
  • Coach and evaluate your team. Provide day-to-day direction and training, conduct performance evaluations, and give input on pay, hiring, and development decisions for your staff.
  • Keep the schedule realistic. Track capacity and throughput against the daily/weekly plan, and escalate schedule risks (staffing gaps, machine downtime, material shortages) before they cause a miss.
  • Own your shift's numbers. Report volume, yield, and defect rate for your area, and make adjustments to work assignments or process steps to hit targets.
  • Keep equipment running. Monitor machine uptime on your line, log issues, and coordinate with Maintenance for routine repairs and scheduled service.
  • Translate priorities for the team. Communicate direction from the Director and cross-functional partners (Pre-Press, Quality, Supply Chain) into clear daily work objectives for your staff.
  • Follow and improve standard work. Operate within established SOPs, and recommend refinements when a process step isn't working - without owning the SOPs themselves.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training. Help ramp new hires and cross-train staff across stations so the team can flex as volume shifts between product lines.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years in print production, manufacturing, or digital print operations, including 2+ years leading teams.
  • Hands-on experience with digital printing, prepress, or color management in a high-volume production environment.
  • Proven ability to hold a daily production schedule and hit throughput and quality targets at the same time.
  • Strong front-line leadership: supervising, training, and holding a team accountable on the production floor.
  • Comfort working with Pre-Press, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve day-to-day issues.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with trading cards, collectibles, or other high-mix, short-run production.
  • Familiarity with on-card printing, foil, and premium finishing processes.
  • Experience supervising multiple shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and production scheduling systems.

Location

This role is based in Allen, TX and is expected to be onsite five days per week.
