Senior Manger, CCE Quality Control

Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Construction & Commissioning Quality Control leads the enterprise-wide construction quality strategy across all power generation projects, including Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, and Combined Heat & Power facilities. This role defines standardized quality frameworks, governance models, and continuous improvement programs to ensure consistent execution and risk mitigation across regions, projects, and contractor networks. The position partners with Engineering, Product Line Management, Supply Chain, and Project Delivery leadership to drive design-for-quality, elevate performance, and embed lessons learned across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute enterprise construction quality strategy aligned to corporate objectives and risk priorities.
  • Establish standardized quality frameworks, governance models, and execution expectations across projects.
  • Provide enterprise oversight of project quality performance, ensuring consistent application of standards and procedures.
  • Define and enforce Inspection Test Plans, NCR processes, and turnover requirements.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools, analytics, and reporting systems to improve quality visibility and performance.
  • Lead executive-level quality reviews highlighting trends, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement programs leveraging data, lessons learned, and RCA outcomes.
  • Drive zero-defect and zero-escape initiatives to eliminate repeat quality issues.
  • Lead root cause analyses for major quality events and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to integrate constructability and design improvements based on field experience.
  • Influence cross-functional teams, suppliers, and EPC contractors through governance, audits, and performance management.
  • Lead and develop quality teams, establish training programs, and build organizational capability.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements including ASME, NEC, API, AWS, and NERC.
