About the RoleThe Senior Analyst I Software Engineering plays a key role in bridging communication between functional areas, departments, and clients to ensure the seamless integration of new, enhanced, and existing applications in alignment with client specifications. This onsite position in Coatesville, PA, is central to delivering high-quality technical solutions that support business operations and meet evolving customer needs.
In this role, the Senior Analyst collaborates closely with account management teams and application delivery resources to identify solution opportunities and drive the implementation of customer-focused solutions. The role requires a strong technical foundation in mainframe technologies, combined with the interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to manage client relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.
This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on client satisfaction by identifying application improvements, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and maintaining alignment between business and technical stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle.
Essential Job Functions· Interface with senior team members to facilitate communication between functional areas, departments, and clients, ensuring integration of applications meets client specifications.
· Collaborate with account management teams and application delivery resources to identify and develop solution opportunities.
· Initiate and drive appropriate implementation of customer solutions.
· Identify application improvements to increase customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
· Communicate improvement needs to appropriate parties to ensure timely implementation.
· Maintain client satisfaction through proactive engagement and follow-through.
· Ensure delivery of projects meets both client and company expectations and needs.
· Apply technical expertise in mainframe systems to support application development and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
· Six or more years of support services or project or program experience
· Experience working with the technology industry
· Experience working with company products and operating systems
· Experience working with computer systems and their use
· Cobol with ADASQL (Technically strong)
· ADABAS / Natural for Mainframe z/OS (Technically strong)
· ADABAS / Natural Report & Structure Modes (Technically strong)
· ADABAS Predict
· CICS
· TSO/ISPF
· JCL
Other Qualifications· Good project management skills
