Elevate is partnering with
a leading medical device and healthcare technology company to identify an
Interim Head of Legal Operations. The successful candidate will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the legal function and be able to operate independently, providing executive-level support and guidance.
Role:Interim Head of Legal Operations / Senior Legal Operations ProfessionalStart Date: ASAP
Location: Remote in the USA (PST) OR Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid in CA preferred)
Full-time/Part-time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Duration: 3-6 months, with possible extension
Rate: $100-120/hr. on W2
Key Responsibilities - Act as the interim leader for Legal Operations, ensuring continuity and strategic oversight during the transition period.
- Drive and manage key legal department priorities, initiatives, and operational objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts for the legal function.
- Advise on legal operations strategy, process optimization, and overall departmental effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with legal leadership and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and execution of critical projects.
- Manage high-level operational and strategic matters, with limited focus on day-to-day e-billing administration.
Required Qualifications - Extensive Legal Operations experience, preferably at a Head of Legal Operations, Director, or similarly senior leadership level.
- Proven track record of managing legal department budgets, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work independently while providing executive-level guidance and operational leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Available to start immediately and support the organization through the transition period.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience serving in interim Legal Operations leadership positions.
- Experience supporting global or multinational legal departments.
- Industry background in healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, technology, or other highly regulated environments.
