PayPal, Inc. seeks Senior Lead Product Manager San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Plan and implement the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation with regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs, and product profitability. Design and drive the product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders, aligned with the shared product vision, and ensure mutual alignment with project requirements and the technology/personnel budget. Assign the duties and responsibilities of content strategists, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers. Assess the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and decision-making processes. Evaluate and document key data in user experience reports to influence new product features. Plan operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability, including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews, and interface with product leadership as needed. Set up data-gathering mechanisms to support metrics that inform product success, including usability studies, research, and market analysis. Lead workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making. Oversee profitability measures, including budget management and financial performance tracking. Advance technology and platform capabilities with Engineering to ensure PayPal builds durable differentiation that drives value for customers and the business. Maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environment where processes are fluid and creative solutions are the standard. Manage a team of 3 product managers (1 lead product manager, 2 senior product managers). Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field plus ten years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

1. Building FinTech products with regulatory compliance (7 years)
2. Developing payment systems or billing infrastructure (2 years)
3. Implementing internationalization and localization for various markets (3 years)
4. Developing lending, credit products and tools for millions of customers (3 years)
5. Defining technical architecture and software requirements (5 years)
6. Designing scalable platforms for high-volume transactions (5 years)
7. Using Agile software development methodologies (8 years)
8. Using data analytics and A/B testing (5 years)
9. Conducting user research, market analysis, and translating to winning products (5 years)
10. Collaborating cross-functionally and presenting to executives (5 years)
11. Managing and mentoring product teams (2 years)
12. Evaluating and managing vendor/partner relationships (3 years)
13. Defining product roadmaps and executing go-to-market (8 years)
14. Building and implementing AI/ML applications (2 years)
15. Managing budgets and implementing process improvements (4 years)
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
Primary Location | Pay Range:
San Jose, California | Salary: $231,731.00-333.500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
