Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers

  • Ensure timely completion of Raw Material Goods Receipts
  • Support Production Scheduler as needed

Job Title:

Senior Key Raw Material Planner

Summary:
The Senior Raw Material Planner is responsible for the execution of raw material purchase orders for four (4) Momentive Plant locations in Friendly, WV, Garrett, IN, Waterford New York and Texas City, TX; contacting bulk carriers for the pick-up and delivery of all bulk raw material purchases; managing all PO changes including delivery date, quantity, MOQ and communicate these changes to the appropriate Asset Planner to ensure adherence to the Production Schedule; and ensuring order confirmation and associated delivery timing from all overseas suppliers.

Key responsibility will be daily purchase order generation, tracking and monitoring of raw materials to ensure adherence to overall production plan

Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintain professional relationship with all suppliers both domestic and international
  • Work directly with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders
  • Works closely with Asset Planners on all changes on raw material orders
  • Direct communication with all relevant Commodity Managers for pricing or any other issues with Raw Material
  • Escalate any critical raw material delays to appropriate Commodity Manager for resolution
  • Coordinator for the ordering of overseas bulk containers of chlorosilanes to verify the order is received by the supplier and the MPM-leased container is available arrives in time at the supplier's location to ensure on time delivery
  • Continuously review and monitor Past Due and Future Order Reports to confirm delivery date and confirmations for on time delivery
  • Ensure order confirmations are recorded in ZPOD
  • Follow up to ensure timely completion of Raw Material Goods Receipt for monitoring of on time delivery of raw materials
  • Back up responsibilities for Production Scheduler to include scheduling of raw materials, repacks, relabels, samples and bulk outbound shipments
  • Maintain Master data to ensure driving the right metrics and service


Qualifications:

The following are required for the role
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Managemet/Administration, or similar field and 5 years' procurement experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to be able to organize data to make decisions
  • Ability to analyze data to make strategic business decisions
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills- written and verbal
  • Positive attitude toward achieving defined targets


The following are preferred for the role:
  • Subject Matter Expert user of SAP-Procurement
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional environment
  • Integrated Supply Chain experience
  • Experience with change culture


What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $74,700 - $109,560

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
