Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Senior Instructional Technologist collaborates with faculty and technologists, on the creation and/or use of educational media and technology projects to support the educational goals of the faculty, department, school, site, and University. The individual in this role may mentor contractors, consultants, and student workers on the departmental processes as needed and as assigned. They collaborate with internal instructional technologists on project assignments and contribute to the emerging processes of the department. They may also coordinate services with other NYU instructional support units.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Relevant field around education and technology

Required Experience:
5+ years Experience in work related to educational technologies, creative technologies, and customer support, preferably in an IT field. Experience creating multimedia using Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Experience applying educational design principles to various visual and media elements. Experience working on a variety of projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years experience in work related to educational technologies, creative technologies, and customer support, preferably in an IT field. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $105,000.00 to USD $125,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
