Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 13+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in the U.S. market and a proven track record of designing, deploying, managing, and operating enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on AWS platform-level engineering, multi-account governance, infrastructure automation, reliability, and operational support. Candidates must have practical experience managing cloud platforms and complex AWS environments rather than primarily migrating applications from data centers to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, manage, and support enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Manage AWS Organizations, Organizational Units (OUs), Service Control Policies (SCPs), and Resource Control Policies (RCPs) to establish effective multi-account governance.
• Support account vending, multi-account provisioning, and standardized cloud governance practices.
• Implement and manage IAM and AWS IAM Identity Center (IDC) for secure identity and access management.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot AWS VPCs, networking, and connectivity services.
• Administer and support AWS Route 53, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, and Lambda services.
• Design and support event-driven architectures using Amazon EventBridge and related AWS platform services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
• Implement infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Python.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Bitbucket to support infrastructure deployment and operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, access, deployment, and platform-level issues.
• Drive infrastructure reliability, operational excellence, automation, and governance best practices across multi-account AWS environments.
• Provide hands-on production and operational support to maintain the availability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, SRE, security, and infrastructure teams to improve cloud operations and standardize engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
• 13+ years of overall professional experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, DevOps, or related technical areas.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in the U.S. market, as specified for this role.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and platform services in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, Organizational Units (OUs), SCPs, RCPs, account vending, and multi-account governance.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, IAM Identity Center, VPC, networking, connectivity services, and Route 53.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, Git, Python, and Terraform.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and operational support skills across cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Demonstrated experience deploying, managing, and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-account AWS environments and implement infrastructure reliability, automation, and governance standards.
• Practical platform-level engineering experience, beyond application-side cloud migration activities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS platform engineering and SRE initiatives.
• Experience establishing standardized infrastructure provisioning, governance, and automation practices across multiple AWS accounts.
• Experience improving cloud platform reliability, operational efficiency, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
