Full Job Description
SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER:

Senior Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analysis of manufacturing data and project implementation that increase throughput, decrease cycle time and decrease cost at MACOM's manufacturing sites. This work will be done in close partnership with production teams, Process Engineers and QA engineers.

Knowledge of semiconductor processing, exceptional communication skills, and an optimistic, can-do approach are essential to success in this role. The MACOM operations are of a high product mixture in dynamic manufacturing environments, requiring good prioritization and excellent judgement. You will be expected to set deliverables and achieve desired results.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with operations to optimize production capacity to maximize throughput and minimize cycle time.
• Own manufacturing reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), KPI mathematical definitions and database query accuracy.
• Create and maintain manufacturing tool capacity models to be used in strategic CAPEX planning and tactical weekly constraints mitigation, then lead team to implement solutions.
• Analyze existing production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve cycle time, throughput and work in progress.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, waste reduction and better prioritization of resource utilization.
• Optimize manufacturing areas through implementing lean principles like 5S, value stream mapping, JIT, and Six Sigma.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports to visualize factory performance, capacity, and key metrics.

Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree Industrial Engineering, or Engineering degree equivalent with minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience. Job title and pay will be commensurate with level of experience.
• Strong understanding of data mining and statistics, SPC, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
• Familiarity with basic SQL code writing to efficiently query large volume of MES data
• Experience with data analysis tools like MS Excel Pivot Tables, Power Bi, MiniTab, JMP or other data visualization and analysis software.
• Must display a strong sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement.
• Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve processes.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, creating process and work instructions for other engineers and for technicians in the manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

RSU Eligible

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject to individual and company performance.

Salary Range

The Salary Range for this position is $97,000 - $133,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
