Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of experience in product development, preferably in consumer products or durable goods.
• Proven leadership skills with a strategic approach to guiding design teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product design, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Proficient in sketching, CAD modeling, and visual storytelling, with experience in software such as Blender, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Strong Blender skills preferred or willingness to quickly learn.
• Open to domestic and international travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, strategic power tool projects while mentoring other designers.
• Conduct research through field visits and trend analysis to identify unmet needs.
• Transform concepts into reality using sketches and 3D models, collaborating across teams.
• Manage the entire design process from ideation to pre-production with a focus on technical details.
