Job SummaryThe Senior HRIT Analyst supports the administration, configuration, security, reporting, and ongoing optimization of HR technology platforms, with a primary focus on Workday. This role partners with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues, maintain data integrity, support system enhancements, and improve HR processes through effective use of technology. The Senior HRIT Analyst serves as a key liaison between functional HR teams and technical resources to ensure HR systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business needs.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities- Supports day-to-day administration of HR systems, including configuration, security, data maintenance, reporting, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Partners with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate business needs, and deliver system solutions that improve HR processes and user experience.
- Maintains the accuracy, integrity, and security of associate and organizational data within Workday and related HR applications.
- Researches, analyzes, and resolves system issues, data discrepancies, access questions, and integration-related concerns; escalates complex issues as needed.
- Assists with system configuration, business process updates, workflow enhancements, and functional testing in non-production and production environments.
- Develops, maintains, and troubleshoots reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support HR operations, compliance, audits, and business decision-making.
- Supports Workday release management, including reviewing release notes, assessing impacts, testing new functionality, and communicating relevant changes to stakeholders.
- Participates in HR technology projects, integrations, acquisitions, process improvements, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Documents system processes, configuration decisions, test results, requirements, issue resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Provides guidance and training to HR users and business partners on system functionality, reporting, data definitions, and best practices.
- Supports access reviews, security audits, compliance activities, and internal controls related to HR systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s), if applicable.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Generally requires 3-6 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, HRIT, business systems analysis, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience configuring, supporting, or administering Workday functionality.
- Experience with reporting, security, business processes, integrations, or release management.
- Experience with Xactly or other enterprise Sales Performance Management platforms
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant HR data.
- Ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with large data sets, reporting tools, or HR analytics.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience with Workday integrations.
- Workday Orchestrate & Extend highly preferred.
Work EnvironmentLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
