Senior HR GeneralistThe Role:
As the Senior HR Generalist, joining Durex Industries will be responsible for leading talent acquisition activities for a manufacturing facility while providing day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders. This role partners closely with operations leadership to attract, hire, onboard, and retain a skilled workforce while ensuring compliance with employment practices and company policies.
Your Responsibilities:Cross Functional Teamwork:- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trade, technical, and salaried manufacturing positions.
- Develop sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines through community partnerships, trade schools, employee referrals, and recruitment events.
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, candidate selection, and hiring decisions.
- Manage candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding activities.
- Track recruiting metrics and recommend improvements to hiring effectiveness.
- Serve as an HR business partner to manufacturing leaders and employees.
- Support employee relations, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Support HR programs, training, engagement initiatives, and retention efforts.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting.
- Confers with Sr. Human Resource Manager on all compliance issues, policy procedure violations or unusual or non-standard matters.
- Works individually and as part of a team on special projects and assignments for Companywide initiatives.
- Uses a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Continually demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Support of company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree or comparable years of experience
- 5 - 10 years of experience working in Human Resources as a generalist or HRBP with some experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preference given for bilingual in Spanish/English
- Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Abilityto demonstrate sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of employment laws, recruiting practices, and employee relations.
- Be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven
- Must be a problem solver and willing to seek answers independently
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, MS Dynamics a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment verbally, electronically and written.
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000
