Please note that position requires a minimum of 5 years of local southwestern Ontario experience. Role Responsibilities:Inspection, material testing and sampling for a wide variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental consulting projects involving small and large earthwork projects. The work involves geotechnical and environmental sampling, soil testing, compaction testing using nuclear density gauge, subgrade inspections, rebar inspections, concrete testing and lab testing and construction inspection. Additionally, the Senior Geotechnical Supervisor will oversee training, leading and a team of field technicians.
Qualifications:- Civil Engineering diploma, preferably with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
- CCIL Certifications in concrete required.
Skills:- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing ability.
- An understanding of materials testing and inspection, road reconstruction, rebar inspection and general construction practices.
Education and Experience:- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science or Civil Engineering.
