The position at a glanceThe Fund Administration team in Montreal ensures the delivery of essential financial services, including NAV calculation, financial reporting, and investment compliance, as contractually delegated by our clients. This role supports BNP Paribas' mission by providing reliable and accurate oversight of fund operations to maintain client trust. The Assistant Manager serves as a dependable back-up to the supervisor and works closely with the Fund Accounting team to foster motivation and continuous process improvement.
In detail- Acquire subject matter expertise in NAV calculation processing and review across all fund and instrument types to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Produce timely NAV calculations and complete NAV packs by following established SLAs and archiving procedures to meet client expectations.
- Validate and justify all reconciliation breaks in TA, Cash, and Stock for each calculated NAV to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain KPI performance in the green by monitoring service levels and prioritizing workloads through reasoned investigation of discrepancies.
- Document and evaluate Key and Standard Operating Procedures for processes migrated to Chennai to ensure all instructions remain accurate and up to date.
- Manage assigned team members' daily tasks and skill sets to ensure operational requirements are met through supportive supervision.
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly meetings, and regular one-on-ones to foster a collaborative environment and support staff development.
- Enforce 100% compliance with ISAE3402 by carrying out daily sample testing and documenting results to mitigate organizational risk.
- Identify process efficiencies and automation opportunities by proposing at least one improvement initiative per quarter to enhance service quality.
- Support the Manager in preparing and reviewing reports to ensure all critical queries are addressed with thorough analysis before client communication.

- Bachelor's in Economics, Finance and Accounting
- The knowledge of English is required.*
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

- Multifonds expertise to navigate complex fund administration processes
