General Summary:Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm's Ventures Finance team, supporting portfolio analysis, investment diligence, portfolio reporting and the development of next-generation reporting and AI-driven workflows.
The position sits at the intersection of venture investing, financial analysis, data infrastructure, and AI-driven innovation, providing high visibility across investment managers, finance leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing investment decision-making, improving portfolio insights, and building scalable systems that support Qualcomm Ventures' global investment activities.
**This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.****Position requires to be onsite in San Diego, 5 days a week**Key Responsibilities1) Venture Financial Analysis & Investment Support- Analyze portfolio company performance, valuation drivers, and return outcomes across stages
- Support investment committee (IC) processes, including financial modeling, return analysis, and ownership/dilution tracking
- Evaluate investment outcomes under various entry, follow-on, and exit scenarios
- Partner with investment managers on portfolio monitoring, company performance reviews, and investment-related analyses
2) Portfolio Reporting & Insights- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, portfolio and management reporting
- Deliver executive-level insights on portfolio performance, key risks, valuation changes, and emerging trends
- Support quarterly portfolio reviews and valuation processes
- Enhance reporting frameworks to improve transparency, consistency, and decision-making across the Ventures organization
3) Data Systems & Infrastructure- Own and enhance Ventures data ecosystem and reporting pipelines
- Maintain data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across investment and operational processes
- Design scalable reporting structures that transform investment data into actionable insights
4) AI & Automation Enablement- Identify, design and implement AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions across Ventures processes
- Develop prototypes, agents, and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency and investment insights
- Partner with Finance and IT to scale automation across Ventures processes
5) Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with investment managers, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and other Finance partners
- Support interactions with external partners, service providers, and portfolio companies as needed
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness and scalability of the Ventures organization
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
Preferred Qualifications- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, or a related discipline
- Experience in venture capital, growth equity, or investment portfolio analysis
- Strong financial modeling skills (valuation, IRR, ownership/dilution, scenario analysis)
- Experience with AI/automation tools or strong interest in applying AI to finance workflows
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, executive-level insights

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $88,000.00 - $132,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
