About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Interest Finance team as we continue to propel our high-growth business, helping Americans save for their future. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the GTM (Go-to-Market) Finance function within the GTM FP&A team. The Go-To-Market team at Human Interest encompasses Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Onboarding. Reporting to the Director of GTM Finance, this role will be a critical player, responsible for cross-functional efforts to support our public company readiness, building financial models for revenue forecasting, and collaborating with all levels of the organization to improve forecasting accuracy and financial reporting.

What you get to do every day
  • Design, build, and maintain sophisticated models for GTM operating expenses: sales & marketing spend, headcount, compensation, commissions, revenue share, and programs and tooling across all go-to-market channels (Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, Onboarding).
  • Own the variance analysis, identifying the root causes of budget-to-actual variances and translating them into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Serve as a strategic finance business partner to GTM leaders and their teams, owning their budgets and headcount plans, driving spend accountability, and providing ad hoc analysis and budgetary support. Deliver actionable insights to inform key decisions and align capital allocation with the initiatives that carry the highest ROI.
  • Provide data-driven insights and financial analysis to optimize sales & marketing efficiency, including CAC, payback period, and enable leadership to "see around the corner."
  • Move beyond manual spreadsheets by automating our core systems (Pigment, NetSuite, Snowflake, etc.) to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Synthesize complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives on GTM spend and efficiency for Board of Directors decks, investor materials, and monthly business reviews.
  • Create and monitor GTM efficiency and spend KPIs to measure performance against budget and key financial objectives.
  • Partner with GTM and People teams on headcount and sales capacity planning, quota-carrying rep ramp, hiring pacing, and the fully-loaded cost of GTM growth.

What you bring to the role
  • 3+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or FinTech environment.
  • Excel wizardry - ability to build robust financial models.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High degree of comfort with ambiguity; ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV/CAC, NRR) and how they flow through to the P&L.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate across functions and levels throughout the company, as well as with external partners.
  • Ability to drive insights from large datasets - SQL experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment is a plus.
