Senior Financial Analyst to join our Plant Finance team. This position is based onsite at our Lincoln, IL manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who currently reside in the US. This role supports all activities related to the Finance department within the Lincoln manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include analysis and reporting support for the operations teams, including supply chain, operation, quality and continuous improvement. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Plant Finance Manager.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What you'll do:- Assist Plant Finance Manager in preparing and monitoring the Finance / Accounting activities in the areas of:
- Month-end closing process - Financial review, variance analysis, balanced scorecard preparation.
- Month-end forecast process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis.
- Profit Plan process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis.
- Various financial and non-financial operational performance control measures and analysis.
- Support CAPEX initiatives for the Haina site and support in Fixed Asset control and maintenance of F.A. system plus CAR preparation / review support.
- Evaluate cost-reduction projects and assess their impact on the P&L.
- Assist in special projects in support of a Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) culture.
- Other ongoing activity or special projects as necessary.
- Prepare, understand and interpret financial statements; P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financial measures from internal and external customers of the finance function at local, divisional and corporate levels.
- Provide financial analysis and assistance to the Plant Finance Manager and plant staff through an in-depth understanding of company accounting policies and practices and business operations.
- Analyze and determine cause of period to period changes and provide other relevant financial analysis of the business.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties in and around the business
- Establish and maintain internal controls and evaluation of plant systems for conformance to division and corporate guidelines, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits of the system and assure system integrity.
- Participate and support annual physical inventory.
- Participate and assist in internal audits.
Qualifications:Basic (required) Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics from an accredited institution
- One (1) or more years of accounting/finance experience supporting manufacturing, logistics, or similar industry

Preferred Qualifications:- Three or more years of experience as a financial analyst supporting manufacturing operations.
- Previous experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, or Vista.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, including various query applications.
- Proficiency in GAAP.
Skills:- In-depth understanding of the cost accounting, general accounting, and financial planning and forecasting systems.
- Ability to interpret accounting theories and apply practical judgment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented.
