Position Overview: Estate Planning AttorneyWe are seeking a senior estate planning attorney with 5+ years of experience to take ownership of our estate planning practice. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. You are the leader of this department, responsible for installing the systems that allow us to scale, managing the team, and driving the firm's growth. Location and Work Schedule- Location: 777 Passaic Ave., Clifton, New Jersey. Our office is conveniently located close to all major highways.
- Schedule: This is a full-time position requiring 40-50 hours per week in office (1 day remote after initial term will be considered)
Compensation and Benefits- Base Salary: $180,000-$300,000
- Performance-Based Bonus: Up to 25% of base salary
- Origination: 25% of all personally originated matters (excludes firm-generated leads).

Key Responsibilities- Lead and Systemize the Practice: Own the estate planning department and its success. You will design repeatable systems, improve SOPs, and refine workflows to ensure our service delivery is as precise as our legal advice.
- Drive Growth and Market Expansion: Partner with our marketing team to turn leads into clients. You will be the face of the firm at our weekly in-office seminars, converting prospects and building the firm's presence in the estate planning market.
- Lead High-Impact Consultations: Take charge of strategy sessions with prospective clients. Your goal is to identify their needs, explain their options clearly, and recommend solutions that build lasting trust.
- Own the Client Journey: Manage the entire client experience. You ensure every client receives white-glove service from the moment they walk in until their plan is signed.
- Supervise Drafting and Production: Oversee the preparation of all estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, health care directives and powers of attorney. You will delegate drafting tasks while maintaining high quality control standards.
- Scale and Innovate: Identify new service offerings to meet client needs and increase revenue. You will hire, mentor, and develop a team of attorneys and paralegals to help us scale without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications We're Looking For:- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in New Jersey; admission to New York and/or Pennsylvania is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience focused on estate planning
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- A compassionate, client-first approach and the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain language
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- A team player with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
