Core Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and budgets, including scope control, change orders, and lifecycle cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Provide senior-level leadership for AML reclamation planning, directing cost estimating, multidisciplinary teams, and regulatory-ready deliverables.
  • Lead development of advanced plans, specifications, and designs for complex environmental and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical and regulatory quality.
  • Oversee preparation of permitting packages for state and local agencies across mining, oil & gas, AML, and site development projects.
  • Lead technical proposal and SOQ development and represent the organization in pre-bid meetings and agency presentations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate staff and stakeholders, supporting effective communication, project delivery, agency relationships, and health & safety compliance.

  • PE licensure preferred with 15+ years of experience in design, environmental permitting, and implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including SMCRA Titles IV and V and Title 25 Chapters 77, 78, 86, 102, and 105.
  • Working knowledge of PA, OH, WV, and IN regulations, with multi-state regulatory familiarity.
  • Advanced technical expertise in AML and reclamation planning and design, providing senior-level guidance and quality oversight.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 35% of the time.
