General Summary:Qualcomm's Data Center team develops cutting-edge rack-scale AI inference solutions for next-generation liquid-cooled data centers. As part of our rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled engineer to drive system-level bring-up, debug, validation, and failure analysis of accelerator cards, servers, and rack-scale platforms. This role will focus on identifying, triaging, and resolving hardware and software issues while developing robust test processes and operational infrastructure to support the delivery of industry-leading AI products.
Key Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end debug activities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and communication with stakeholders.
- Investigate hardware, firmware, and software failures encountered during card, server, rack, and test fixture bring-up.
- Gather, analyze, and correlate failure data to identify trends, isolate root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Develop, integrate, and document hardware and software bring-up, validation, and debug processes.
- Design and enhance test automation infrastructure to improve debug efficiency, validation coverage, and test stability.
- Execute validation plans and debug methodologies for accelerator cards, server platforms, Ethernet, PCIe, and high-speed I/O interfaces.
- Create debug tools, test scripts, and diagnostic procedures to accelerate issue reproduction and resolution.
- Prioritize and track issue resolution and communicate progress through regular updates on root causes, corrective actions, and overall status.
