Overview
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer in Cary, NC to monitor performance of application infrastructure and suggest technical improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing support to critical financial applications in complex production environments; analyzing engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems; analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems; reviewing computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; following ITIL process and resolving incidents and problems; performing root-cause analysis; coordinating change and release management and working on disaster recovery and business continuity management tests; handling job scheduling with Control-M/Autosys; addressing gaps based on internal and external audit findings; maintaining an end-to-end view of applications, infrastructure landscapes, and dataflows; optimizing operational efficiency with automation and transformation initiatives using AI/ML, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation to ensure seamless delivery of critical services to business stakeholders and clients; and in executing duties, utilizing Oracle Exadata, PL SQL, Unix, ServiceNow, Shell Script, Toad, Axiom Controller, Linux, Putty, Control-M, Geneos, SAS, MicroStrategy Reporting Tool, HP Quality Center/Service Center, SharePoint, and Confluence. Salary range: $163,959.00 - $225,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
