Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role
- Provide technical support to automotive customers during evaluation, integration, and development of Automotive Ethernet solutions.
- Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and issue replication on customer platforms and evaluation kits.
- Track, analyze, and drive resolution of customer technical issues
- Develop and deliver customer training, application workshops, and trade show demonstrations.
- Create customer-facing technical documentation, including integration guides, application notes, API documentation, and training materials.
- Partner with Product Management, Design Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure product capabilities align with customer requirements and market needs.
Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer, Systems Engineer in automotive or ethernet applications. With hands-on experience in debugging.
- Skills in C, Python programming, scripting, schematics review, PCB layout review
- Understanding of SerDes protocols and interfaces like: xxBASE-T1, I2C, MDC/MDIO, QSPI
- Knowledge of Ethernet PHYs, Switches and Bridges products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed
In the United States, it is required to disclose a salary range to applicants. The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is: San Jose, Ca. Minimum of $106,900 base salary per year / Maximum of $147,000 base salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
