Job Description:

Microchip's Timing and Communication Group (TCG) is seeking a Senior Engineer - Analog Design to support the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP used across Microchip timing products. This role focuses on disciplined engineering execution, close collaboration with experienced technical leaders, and delivering robust, manufacturable silicon.

The position is well suited for an engineer who values strong fundamentals, thoughtful design, and contributing to products with long lifecycles and real-world applications.

What You'll Do
• Design and simulate analog IP blocks for mixed-signal SoC products
• Work with design leads to implement circuit requirements into production-ready designs
• Perform PVT corner analysis and block-level modeling
• Support silicon validation and lab characterization

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
• PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - new PhD grads with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• ~3-5 years of professional experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design
• Experience with circuits such as PLLs/DLLs, ADCs/DACs, filters, or high-speed I/O
• Strong analog fundamentals and experience with Cadence IC design tools

Preferred Qualifications
• Research directly applicable to practical analog design
• Verilog-A modeling experience
• Scripting/automation (Skill, Python, Perl, Tcl)
• Silicon bring-up or lab validation exposure

This position is scoped as a Senior Engineer individual contributor role and is not aligned to principal-level or system-architecture ownership.

The annual base salary range for this position is 90,000 - 140,000.*
