Full Job Description
As a Senior Enclosure Manager, you will support Clark personnel from Project Development through Project Delivery to assist with delivery of high-quality building enclosures that meet project requirements and mitigate risk of enclosure-related issues on Clark projects. Responsibilities
  • Be an in-house, enclosure-focused subject matter specialist and support Clark projects primarily focused in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Review early contract documents to identify project risks and problematic systems, components, and details that require additional coordination or discussion.
  • Support in-house Design Managers to perform constructability reviews and meet with Owners and Design Teams to bring early review comments to resolution.
  • Support scoping and purchasing personnel to identify scope and appropriate procure enclosure trades.
  • Assist with review and development of testing protocol regarding PMU construction.
  • Assist project teams with project start-up regarding constructability and coordination concerns and risks related to the building enclosure. Perform in person meetings to educate them about the enclosure components on their project, risks associated with project specific conditions and establish communication with the project teams.
  • Assist project teams with review and coordination of shop drawings. Work with the project teams to generate RFIs, revise shop drawings, and coordinate shop drawings between trades.
  • Perform site visits to review first installations, assist with coordination and sequencing, troubleshoot transition details and establish quality assurance testing or inspection plans as needed.
  • Manage junior staff within the Enclosure Group to perform inspection, testing, reviews of ongoing construction.
  • Support teams with preparation and execution of field performance testing for enclosure components. Diagnose failed tests and manage repairs if needed. Implement repair strategy at other locations where issues were identified.
  • Assist project teams with post-occupancy/ warranty related issues. Diagnose issues and determine which trade(s) is/are at fault. Assist project teams with management of repair and efficacy testing to ensure the issue is corrected. Interface with Clients and building managers to maintain relationships and execute work in a timely manner.
  • Mentor Clark personnel to educate them on building enclosure systems, components and performance, specifically Clark Enclosure Group junior staff, and project team enclosure trade managers.
  • Assist with development of corporate trainings related to building enclosure systems, components, performance, quality, and other lessons learned.
  • Support Asset Solution Groups within Clark, primarily Carta Advisors and Tekton Building Solutions Group with consulting, advisory, and self-perform restoration and repair projects. Support for Carta Advisors may include performance testing, investigations, reporting, building enclosure commissioning, and general consulting to execute enclosure restoration efforts.
