The Senior Electrical Designer position’s accountability includes the design of the electrical and control systems for Kurita America Equipment. This position requires designing electrical drawings for Kurita America Equipment.

Pay: $90,000 to $100,000

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Develop Electrical Drawings from P&ID’s and I/O Lists.
- Source new components.
- Review Customer System Specifications and complete Master Project List.
- Various Panel Shop duties as needed.
- Some travel required to perform troubleshooting, training and start-up support.
- Work with field services to provide electrical support.
- Work within a budget.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Associates Degree in Electrical Controls/Electrical Engineering a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.
- Ability to create electrical drawings such as single line diagram, electrical architecture, panel drawing
- Intimately familiar with UL and NEC.
- Ability to use AutoCAD
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Engineering experience
- 2 - 3 years’ experience of panel design a plus
- 2 - 3 years’ experience of panel production a plus
- MTR (Manufacturing Technical Representative) certification a plus

- Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
- Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time.
- Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
- Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
