**Job Title: Senior DynamoDB Lead**
**Location:** Virginia
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain DynamoDB databases in line with best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of database professionals.
- Optimize database performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement database security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Manage backup, recovery, and scalability strategies for DynamoDB.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in DynamoDB and AWS services.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DynamoDB expert, preferably in a leadership role.
- In-depth understanding of NoSQL database concepts and DynamoDB's unique features.
**Skills:**
- Strong experience with AWS services, particularly relating to DynamoDB.
- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and query optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda is advantageous. Certification of AWS is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
