Position Overview:
Beam is looking for a highly motivated, strategic and driven commercial leader to join our growing Hematology Franchise. The Senior Director / Vice President, Hematology Marketing will drive brand strategy development, commercial launch readiness and execution for Beam's lead asset, Risto-cel, an ex vivo autologous hematopoietic stem cell-based gene therapy for the treatment of severe sickle cell disease (SCD). This is a high impact role for Beam's potential first product commercialization. The successful candidate plays a critical role in leading the marketing and marketing operations team.
The Senior Director / Vice President, Hematology Marketing, reports into the SVP, US GM.
Responsibilities:
Develops and leads brand strategy for Risto-cel and ensures alignment across key cross-functional stakeholders including Medical, Market Access, Key Account Management Team and Technical Operations.
Owns development of brand positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy.
Leads commercial launch readiness and execution in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Directs HCP and Patient marketing strategy and oversees tactical execution by agency partners and marketers.
Leads team of marketing, insights and marketing operations professionals.
Oversees generation of customer and market insights through primary and secondary research, competitive intelligence and Advisory Boards.
Leads scenario planning, risk management, and contingency strategies for launch, including forecasting and supply chain coordination.

Qualifications:
BS/BA in a relevant academic field; MBA, MD, PhD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 12 years business experience within the pharma/biotech/biopharma space.
Proven track record of developing and executing brand strategies in highly cross-functional environments.
Experience in cell and gene therapy is a must.
U.S. launch experience is a must.
