Position Overview

This role can be based in Ashburn, VA or remote.

In a Senior Director of Procurement Execution, NA Vantage is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, self-starter to be an integral part of a team that manages Owner Furnished Contractor Installed Equipment (OFCI) and corresponding supply chains. In this role, you will lead and develop every aspect of the equipment procurement and delivery process from start to finish as well as lead other project managers. Daily responsibilities include providing executive leadership for North American Energy Procurement, Logistics, OFCI, and strategic sourcing functions; leading complex commercial negotiations and supplier partnerships; directing RFP development and contract execution; overseeing equipment procurement, submittals, and delivery performance; managing and forecasting capital budgets exceeding $800M; evaluating data center infrastructure strategies; and driving cross-functional alignment with Operations, Construction, Finance, Engineering, and executive leadership to ensure successful project execution, cost optimization, and supply chain resiliency.

As a Senior Director, you will be required to manage numerous projects in multiple regions simultaneously. Regular collaboration and coordination will be required with our external supply chain partners and numerous internal teams such as Construction Cost & Finance, Accounting, Construction, Operations, and Legal. Monthly travel to manufacturers and project sites will also be required.

Essential Job Functions

Logistics, Inventory & Supply Chain Management
  • Provide executive leadership for North American logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives, project execution requirements, and long-range procurement strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams responsible for transportation, warehousing, inventory planning, equipment allocation, and material flow across a multi-billion-dollar capital project portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year inventory and capacity planning strategies, ensuring the availability of critical equipment while optimizing working capital, storage costs, and supply chain resiliency.
  • Establish and oversee enterprise-wide forecasting, reporting, and analytics for equipment demand, logistics performance, inventory levels, cash flow, and project cost requirements.
  • Partner with Finance, Construction, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership to develop long-range capital forecasts, mitigate supply chain risks, and support strategic business decisions.
  • Direct logistics providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, efficient execution, and continuous improvement of supply chain performance.
  • Lead executive reviews of project-specific inventory deviations, equipment customization requirements, and allocation strategies to ensure alignment with project schedules and customer commitments.
  • Drive governance, reporting, and KPI development related to logistics, inventory management, forecast accuracy, cost performance, and supply chain effectiveness across the North American portfolio.
  • Champion process standardization, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance visibility, scalability, and operational efficiency throughout the supply chain


Procurement Management
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of North American procurement functions, including Energy Procurement, Logistics, Cost Management, and OFCI, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, project delivery requirements, and long-term supply chain strategies.
  • Direct the development and execution of sourcing strategies, RFP processes, and commercial frameworks while providing guidance and executive support for complex supplier negotiations, contract execution, and risk management initiatives.
  • Establish governance and performance standards for equipment procurement, submittal management, supplier engagement, and delivery execution across a diverse portfolio of data center projects.
  • Lead long-range equipment demand planning, inventory forecasting, and capacity management strategies to support growth objectives, optimize capital deployment, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Partner with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to evaluate procurement strategies, equipment standardization initiatives, and project-specific requirements, providing insight and direction on critical business decisions.
  • Oversee procurement reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics, ensuring executive visibility into spend, supplier performance, schedule adherence, inventory health, and supply chain risk.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to procurement teams, empowering them to achieve operational excellence while driving continuous improvement, scalability, and supply chain resilience across the North American portfolio.


Project Management:
  • Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for equipment allocation, inventory deployment, and capacity planning across the North American project portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, customer commitments, and project delivery objectives.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on data center infrastructure systems, providing guidance and decision support related to electrical one-line diagrams, mechanical systems, equipment specifications, and technical procurement strategies.
  • Lead governance and executive reviews of project budgets, forecasts, and schedule performance, ensuring financial accountability, risk mitigation, and alignment between procurement, construction, and operational objectives.
  • Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Operations leadership to establish portfolio execution strategies, identify project risks and constraints, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional execution teams responsible for equipment planning, project delivery, and milestone achievement across multiple concurrent data center developments.
  • Oversee reporting, performance metrics, and forecasting processes to ensure executive visibility into project health, budget performance, equipment readiness, and schedule adherence.
  • Champion best practices, standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance project execution efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence across the North American portfolio.


Partner Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between supply chain partners and internal partners, communicating changes in product lead times and costs.
  • Support engineering and sales teams in addressing client requests and design changes.
  • Coordinate the approval and release of necessary equipment according to the construction schedule.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure all purchases are accurately costed to projects.
  • Manage contract negotiations & execution and function as liaison between in-house legal team and vendors.

Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and favorable terms.
  • Support complex negotiations for equipment and services from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Work as a liaison between numerous vantage business units outside of the Procurement Department and vendors to solve complex problems and resolve financial disputes.


Financial Responsibilities:
  • Assist Finance and Accounting with invoicing issues, cash flow forecasts, and budget reconciliation.
  • Manage and support equipment inventory planning efforts and forecasting.
  • Work with the Finance to ensure all purchases have appropriately been costed to a project
  • Facilitate, manage, and organize intercompany inventory sales


Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of at least 3-5 direct reports
  • Develop, coach and mentor future leaders within the NA Procurement Team. Providing daily direction and development to help all members grow.
  • Own the responsibility to drive corporate and departmental goals to completion.
  • Assist in developing the department's road-map to be able to scale with the company's growth and expansion.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or similar field is required; Masters in a related field or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or construction role is required.
  • Lives by the Vantage Culture daily.
  • Expected travel to construction sites and vendor facilities is 25%

Additional Details
  • Salary Range: $225,000-235,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Virgina market data and may vary in other locations)
