The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco: The Senior Director, IT leads Moloco's global IT strategy, operations, and employee technology experience, building and scaling secure, reliable, and cost-effective services across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You will lay the groundwork for responsible, scalable integration of AI into daily workflows while leading a global team of IT managers and engineers who own the roadmap for end-user computing, collaboration, and core corporate infrastructure. In partnership with Security, Workplace, People, and Finance, you ensure these systems are robust, easy to use, and aligned with Moloco's business and security priorities.
As a member of the leadership team, you set the direction for how technology and AI enable Moloco's mission and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership and business units on technology strategy, IT transformation, and AI adoption. You influence company culture, ensure technology is a competitive advantage, and help leaders understand competitive implications, organizational readiness, and how emerging technologies reshape our capabilities and risk profile.
The Opportunity: IT Strategy & Leadership- Define and drive a multi-year IT strategy and roadmap aligned with Moloco's growth, security posture, and hybrid/remote working model.
- Partner with the CISO and cross-functional leaders (Security, Workplace, People, Finance, Engineering) to ensure IT capabilities support business priorities.
- Translate business goals into clear IT objectives, success metrics, and investment plans.
- Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to the executive team and business units on technology strategy, innovation priorities, and digital transformation, helping leaders understand competitive implications and organizational readiness for technology-driven change.
AI Strategy & Adoption - Develop and champion an IT-led AI adoption roadmap that includes tooling strategy (selection, procurement, licensing), pilot programs with measurable success criteria, change management, and org-wide rollout plans; demonstrate early wins and build organizational confidence.
- Build and mentor IT team capabilities in AI operations, model management, prompt engineering, vendor evaluation, and tool troubleshooting; foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and responsible AI practices.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging AI trends, tools (LLMs, agentic systems, RAG frameworks), vendor landscape, and competitive developments; regularly reassess and evolve Moloco's AI infrastructure and adoption strategy.
- Serve as the visible champion and trusted advisor for responsible AI integration, communicating vision and best practices to all levels, demystifying AI, and collaborating with People/L&D on training and competency development to help teams thrive in an AI-augmented environment.
Global IT Operations & Service Delivery - Lead global IT operations across Americas, EMEA, and APAC, overseeing regional IT managers and on-site/remote support teams.
- Own the IT service catalog and end-to-end service management processes (incident, request, problem, and change management).
- Establish and manage SLAs and KPIs for responsiveness, reliability, and employee satisfaction; drive a high-touch, customer-service mindset in the team.
- Oversee help desk, endpoint management, collaboration tools, identity and access management, office IT, and AV support for our key hubs (MPK, London, Seoul) and remote employees.
Infrastructure, Tools & Automation - Own the architecture and operations of Moloco's corporate IT infrastructure, including networks, Wi-Fi, VPN, device fleet, and core SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace/M365, Okta, Zoom/Meet, Slack, ticketing, asset management).
- Drive standardization, automation, and lifecycle management for hardware, software, and configurations, including joiner/mover/leaver processes.
- Partner with Security and Engineering on zero-trust, identity-first approaches and secure-by-default configurations.
Security, Risk & Compliance (in close partnership with CISO/GRC) - Implement and enforce IT security policies, device management standards, and access controls across all regions.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX as applicable) through strong IT controls, documentation, and evidence gathering.
- Lead IT incident response for technology-related disruptions and collaborate with Security on security incidents, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions. Ensure AI-related security and compliance requirements are integrated into IT governance, data handling practices, and vendor risk assessments.
People Leadership & Org Development - Manage and grow a high-performing global IT organization, including IT managers in Americas/EMEA/APAC and regional IT/AV and desktop support engineers.
- Clarify roles, goals, and career paths; provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement, aligned with Moloco's values and performance expectations.
- Own IT budget planning and spend management, balancing service quality, scalability, cost efficiency, and AI infrastructure investments.
Change Management & Employee Enablement - Lead IT aspects of company-wide rollouts (new tools, device programs, office openings/expansions, security initiatives, AI adoption waves), ensuring smooth change management and adoption.
- Partner with Workplace, People, and L&D to create clear guides, training, and communications so employees understand how to best use our tools and services, including AI capabilities.
- Act as a visible, trusted partner to leaders and employees, helping teams work more effectively through technology and responsible AI integration.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me? - 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years leading global IT teams in a high-growth, technology-driven company.
- Demonstrated success leading end-user computing, collaboration platforms, and office IT/AV at scale across multiple regions.
- Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS ecosystems, identity and access management, device management (e.g., MDM), and network infrastructure.
- Experience operating in a security-first environment, partnering with CISO/GRC teams and supporting relevant compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).
- Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams, including managers and individual contributors, across multiple time zones.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives and cross-functional partners.
- Track record of driving operational excellence, automation, and process maturity in IT service delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, platforms, or infrastructure; familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, or AI integration in enterprise settings is a strong plus.
- Experience developing governance, security, and adoption strategies for emerging technologies in fast-moving environments.
- Experience serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on IT and digital strategy; track record of shaping organizational strategy through technology leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree and/or certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISCP, CISM) are a plus.
