The Team:
The Tech, Data, and Transformation organization at S&P Global includes Divisional and Functional Technology teams, Enterprise Data, AI capabilities, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Transformation. The goal of this team is to accelerate our enterprise technology and data strategy, amplify AI capabilities, support enterprise transformation, and unlock productivity gains that enhance our ability to deliver customer value at greater speed and scale. This role sits in the Acceleration and Operations team within the Tech, Data and Transformation organization, and works at the intersection of technology, data, and business strategy, keeping the TDT Leadership Team aligned on what matters most, how it is communicated, and how the organization operates as one.
The Role
The Head of the Office of CTTO is the operating engine behind the CTTO and the TDT Leadership Team, and serves as a trusted advisor to the CTTO, Head of Acceleration and Operations, and Head of Enterprise Transformation. The role owns four areas: refining and aligning TDT strategy and OKRs, managing executive and board forward planning and materials, making the Leadership Team more effective, and driving cultural alignment and integration across TDT. Success means ensuring the TDT is clear on its priorities, well prepared for every executive forum, and visibly connected to the wider organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and OKRs
- Refine TDT's strategic objectives and target outcomes, and keep the narrative consistent across TDT and with the business.
- Own the OKR process for the TDT Leadership Team: facilitate goal setting, align OKRs to corporate strategic objectives, and run regular progress reviews.
- Translate strategy into a clear, repeatable story for executives, business partners, and TDT teams.
Executive management
- Own forward planning and materials for key executive forums, including Quarterly Financial Reviews (QFR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Executive Leadership Team (ELT) sessions, and Board of Directors (BOD) updates.
- Maintain a rolling calendar of executive commitments, coordinating inputs from across TDT so materials are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
- Shape the storyline and key messages for executive and board materials, and prepare the CTTO and Leadership Team for each forum.
Leadership Team effectiveness
- Plan and prepare TDT Leadership Team staff meetings: set agendas, frame discussion topics, prepare pre-reads, and track decisions and follow-ups.
- Design and run Leadership Team offsites, from objectives and agenda through facilitation and follow-through.
- Lead a working group of Chief of Staff and COS-like roles across TDT who support individual Leadership Team members, creating shared ways of working, a common planning calendar, and consistent standards.
TDT cultural alignment and integration
- Work closely with Communications and People partners to bring the TDT organization together as one team.
- Drive cross-organization information sharing, so teams understand the strategy and each other's work, priorities, and people.
- Shape and coordinate key leadership messaging from the CTTO and Leadership Team, making sure it is consistent with TDT strategy and lands well with the organization.
