Full Job Description
What you will do:

The Senior Director, Corporate Communications is responsible for leading Clarios' global corporate communications strategy and execution to strengthen the company's reputation, enhance employee engagement, support business transformation, and position Clarios as the global leader in advanced energy storage solutions. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, driving integrated communication strategies across internal communications, executive communications, external communications, media relations, digital content, crisis communications, thought leadership, and corporate storytelling.

The Senior Director will lead a global team and partner closely with regional communications leaders, HR, Marketing, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, Sustainability, and business leaders to ensure consistent, compelling, and aligned messaging that advances Clarios' strategic priorities worldwide.

How you will do it:
• Develop and execute Clarios' global corporate communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities, growth objectives, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic communications advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, and senior business leaders on messaging, organizational change, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead executive communications including speeches, town halls, leadership messaging, presentations, thought leadership content, and key enterprise announcements.
• Drive employee communications and engagement strategies that improve transparency, alignment, culture, and understanding of company priorities.
• Own Clarios' external communications, media relations, public relations, and reputation management activities across global markets.
• Lead enterprise crisis and issues management communications, ensuring preparedness, rapid response, and effective stakeholder communication during critical events.
• Oversee corporate digital communications, content strategy, website governance, social media, and corporate storytelling to strengthen brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with HR, Sustainability, Investor Relations, Government Affairs, Marketing, and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences and channels.
• Elevate Clarios' thought leadership and brand reputation by promoting innovation, sustainability, circular economy leadership, talent initiatives, and technology
advancements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global communications team, including talent development, succession planning, operational excellence, and communications governance.

What we look for:

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive communications leadership experience, including leadership of global or multi-regional communications organizations.
• Proven experience serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, driving executive communications, strategic messaging, and enterprise stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated communications strategies within complex global, industrial, manufacturing, technology, automotive, or B2B organizations.
• Deep expertise across internal communications, change management, media relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and digital communications.
• Experience leading large-scale business transformations, organizational change initiatives, and corporate affairs programs, including sustainability, ESG, public policy, or investor-related communications.

Preferred:

Master's degree or MBA preferred.
