Full Job Description
What You Will Do The Senior Director, Consumer Sales will p rovide strategic leadership for national accounts, shaping long?term growth strategies aligned with enterprise priorities, customer evolution, and changing consumer behaviours.

In This Role, You Will

  • Partner with the VP & Head of Canada Sales to shape and advance national growth strategies, ensuring KPL brands sustain market leadership in volume, quality, value, and long?term relevance.
  • Lead the development and execution of innovative, customer?centric promotional and commercial strategies that anticipate competitive dynamics and accelerate growth across Trademark and Private Label portfolios.
  • Own pricing and profitability performance for the portfolio of accounts, delivering brand family Net 2 targets while optimizing VGP and direct contribution through disciplined portfolio and trade?off management.
  • Provide senior leadership in key account engagements and presentations, ensuring alignment to corporate strategy, brand direction, product innovation, and promotional priorities.
  • Ensure consistent and effective execution of Marketing Brand Strategies and the Playbook across all accounts, translating enterprise direction into customer?specific plans.
  • Build and sustain trusted, executive?level relationships with customers, serving as a strategic partner and advisor to drive mutual growth.
  • Oversee financial and commercial governance for the business, ensuring accuracy, rigor, and alignment with internal controls and customer agreements.
  • Lead the development, execution, and performance tracking of customer business plans, ensuring delivery of KPL objectives within approved budgets and investment guardrails.
  • Lead cross?functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Category Management to leverage insights, loyalty data, and analytics in support of customer and brand strategies.
  • Apply market trends, consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis to inform strategic decisions and proactively adjust course in line with corporate objectives.
  • Provide timely, strategic counsel to the VP & Head of Canada Sales on account performance, risks, opportunities, and emerging issues impacting business outcomes.
  • Develop a high?performing leadership team by coaching, mentoring, and succession?planning direct reports to deliver results today while building future capability.
What You Will Bring
  • 10 years Sales experience and/or in merchandising, working in the grocery, mass merchandizer, club store, and drug retail trade.
  • Depth of knowledge in all job facets of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of category management principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of the retail industry market.
  • Experience leading a team
  • Post-secondary degree from a University is preferred
  • Bilingual (French & English) is strongly preferred.
