Full Job Description
As a Senior Digital Production Technician, your primary focus will be creating exhibits, details, sheets, and performing red-lines and compiling plan sets using CAD and related digital production tools. You will work with project engineers and digital production and delivery leadership in your area to assist you in learning and applying HDR and industry standards and workflows.
In the role of Senior Digital Production Technician, we'll expect you to:
Act as CAD manager for small to large projects, or a discipline/segment specific CAD lead for mega projects.
Develop and maintain design drawings, layouts, details, diagrams, annotations, exhibits and sheets following approved CAD standards using AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, OpenRoads designer, OpenBridge designer, OpenRail designer.
Develop, maintain, and coordinate print sets/sheet sets for printing of engineered drawing plan sets.
Drive the plan production process and schedule in coordination with project management and discipline leads. Coordinate the compiling of multiple disciplines or teams developed plan sheets, both in CAD and through pdf assembly.
Implement and maintain file nomenclature and architecture according to project requirements, performing file health audits at designated intervals.
Implement Client or National CAD standards and HDR CAD standards where appropriate. Develop project CAD standards as needed and author the project CAD manual or CAD portions of the Digital Delivery Plan.
Apply the project CAD managed workspace/environment within the Common Data Environment. Evaluate and maintain this environment as changes are required or issued.
Drive CAD elements of quality reviews by checking deliverables for completeness, consistency, and standards compliance.
Coordinate with digital designers, project managers and task leads, engineers, and project team members to incorporate design changes and resolve production issues.
Provide formal guidance to entry-level Digital Production Technicians on file setup, standards, and production workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree or CAD design certification from an accredited institution, or comparable practical experience.
Advanced experience using CAD software to develop and deliver transportation plan sets, including drawings, sheets, and details.
Civil/Transit experience
Experience with engineering plan development workflows, and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
Advanced experience with transportation design platforms such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.
Experience working in and managing common data environments such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Forma/BIM 360, or Bentley Infrastructure Cloud.
Understanding of BIM content, data management, information exchange, and interoperability among platforms such as Bentley, Autodesk, Trimble, and GIS.
Experience with reality capture, integrating existing-conditions data into design, publishing 3D models to GIS, and Bentley rendition workflows.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a leader, communicate clearly, and support multiple projects and teams with different technical backgrounds.
