WHAT THEY'LL DO
• Design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Cloud Build)
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and other IaC tools
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
• Manage GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud SQL
• Implement cloud security best practices: IAM policies, service accounts, secrets management, network security
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability and cost
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support DR, backup and high availability
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash or Shell
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong hands-on GCP, including networking, IAM, security and cloud architecture
• CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Docker, Kubernetes and GKE
• Monitoring and logging: Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana
• Python, Bash or Shell scripting, and Git
• Linux administration, networking, DNS and load balancing
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
GOOD TO HAVE
• Google Cloud certification (Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect)
• SRE practices: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets
• GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux; service mesh (Istio)
• Cloud cost optimization (FinOps) and automated compliance
• Hybrid or multi-cloud environments
