Position DescriptionHPS Investment Partners is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Developer to join our technology team. This person will be responsible for building data analytics and reporting solutions associated with our Public & Private Loan, CLO and Long/Short Credit trading desks. He/she will be involved in multiple projects, many of which will involve working directly with our Portfolio Management, Operations and Finance teams.
ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Ownership of the entire lifecycle of mission-critical data delivery applications, including business analysis, design and architecture, development, and deployment
- Collaborate with our internal software development team as well as application vendors to develop solutions and integrate vendor products to deliver rich, enterprise-wide software solutions
- Enhance the firm's existing data delivery system, working directly with Portfolio Management teams as well as Operations and Accounting
- Projects will include building and integrating data analytics / reporting solutions supporting Senior Management, Investor Relations, Business Development, Front Office PMs/Analysts/Traders, Risk, Operations, and Finance.
- Ability to manage offsite and offshore development teams
- Develop tools to manage and monitor data flows
- Continuously enrich data access and innovate dashboard capabilities
Candidate Profile- 8+ years of total relevant experience with at least 5+ years of experience in the financial industry; hedge fund, private debt fund
- Data Modelling / Data Warehousing experience
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake will be a plus
- Excellent MS-SQL query composition skills
- Development experience with Microsoft BI platform: Power BI, Power Apps, SSRS etc.
- Product knowledge with one or more asset classes (Bank Loans, bonds, credit derivatives, FX forwards) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities and inter-personal skills
- Highest degree of business ethics and professionalism
- Strong appreciation for architecture, analysis, problem solving, testing, and agile development
- Ability to perform business analysis, as well as manage and maintain various user relationships
- Proven experience in team management, mentoring staff, and driving group success.
- Demonstrated track record of academic and professional achievement
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Degree from a Tier-I engineering institute (IIT / NIT / BITS / equivalent) preferred

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$125,000.00 - USD$165,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
