We are seeking a senior data scientist to serve as the program's technical authority for data science, data engineering, and applied AI supporting DIA analysts. You guide how analytic tools are built, tested, and adopted, with a firm standard for responsible, auditable use in intelligence workflows.

Work Schedule: M-F 8 hours/day

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead data scientists, data engineers, and computer scientists across supported centers as the program's senior technical authority

• Set standards for responsible, auditable AI and analytics in intelligence workflows

• Guide analytic tools from pilot through evaluation and deployment in accredited development environments

• Mentor technical practitioners and develop training that helps analysts use AI tools effectively and responsibly

• Coordinate with government technical leads and partner teams; serve on hiring panels

• Remain hands-on in data science and tool development

Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

• 8+ years of data science or machine learning experience, including 5+ supporting DoD or the Intelligence Community

• Experience developing or deploying analytic or machine learning tools in classified environments

• Experience leading or mentoring technical staff

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 8

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IC analytic modernization or AI adoption efforts

• Generative AI or large language model tooling in secure environments

• Proficiency in Python and common machine learning frameworks

• Experience translating technical work for analysts and senior leaders
