Full Job Description
SENIOR DATA ANALYST, PRODUCT ANALYTICS
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics to play a central role in how our product and business teams make decisions. You will be embedded with teams across areas such as banking, user journey and experience, liquidity, and value-added services, owning the analytics agenda for your area from question to recommendation. This is a high-ownership role: you will lead experimentation, drive deep-dive and root-cause analyses, build business cases, and help your partners set strategic roadmaps. You are equally comfortable writing complex SQL and presenting a clear point of view to leadership, and you raise the analytical bar for the people around you. RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the product analytics agenda for your embedded area, partnering with product, engineering, finance, and business leaders to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact analyses.
Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments, including success metrics, power and sample sizing, statistical inference, and learning briefs.
Conduct deep-dive and root-cause analyses on trends, funnels, retention, and engagement, turning ambiguous problems into clear business opportunities.
Build business cases that size opportunities, quantify impact, and inform investment and roadmap decisions.
Help department leaders define success metrics and strategic roadmaps grounded in data.
Provide clear, actionable insight to stakeholders on business performance, customer behavior, and metric trends, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and Looker explores that track KPIs across product, finance, and operations.
Partner with analytics engineers and data engineers to improve data models, definitions, and reliability, and to validate outputs before they reach stakeholders.
Use AI tools to improve efficiency in analysis, insight generation, and reporting, and share best practices with the team.
Mentor and support other analysts, contributing to team standards for analysis design, experimentation, and storytelling.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in a data analytics role, with at least 3 years in product analytics, where you owned multiple concurrent workstreams and operated with a high degree of autonomy.
2-3 years in a consumer-facing fintech, digital banking, payments, or lending environment (or similar B2C setting), working with transactional data, product metrics, and customer behavior at scale.
Advanced SQL in a cloud data warehouse environment (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift), including window functions, CTEs, and complex joins.
Python experience for data analysis, automation, and statistical work.
Strong expertise in experimentation, including A/B/n testing, significance testing, and statistical inference.
Proven track record of taking analytical projects from scoping through to delivery, with ownership over outcomes, not just outputs.
Experience building dashboards and reports in Looker or comparable BI tools.
Strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
A proven ability to use data to change minds and drive decisions.
NICE TO HAVE
Direct experience in D2C or consumer fintech, including banking, liquidity, or value-added services.
Experience building business cases and contributing to roadmaps or strategic planning.
Hands-on experience with dbt or comparable transformation tools, and familiarity with dimensional modeling.
Experience using AI tools to improve analytics efficiency and insight generation.
Experience mentoring analysts or leading cross-functional workstreams, even informally.
Familiarity with unit economics concepts such as ARPU, contribution profit, and cohort LTV.
This role has a base salary range of $150,000 - $200,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process.
