Senior Data Analyst, Enterprise

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to be a key analytical partner to our Customer Success organization and our product-led, digital customer journey. You'll shape how the business understands what drives adoption, retention, and expansion, analyzing how customers move from sign-up to activation, engagement, conversion, expansion, and renewal, and turning that into clear, actionable insight on the growth levers leadership can act on. Sitting within our centralized analytics function, you'll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Growth, RevOps, and Data Engineering, bringing strategic thinking, deep PLG expertise, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that move the business forward. You'll help define how digital and scaled success programs are measured, size opportunities, show where to invest next, and help shape the data foundations that underpin our AI and automation capabilities. How we're using AI today On the Analytics team, we're thoughtfully embedding AI into how we work with data. That looks like using AI to accelerate SQL development, pressure-test interpretations, turn complex datasets into clear executive narratives, and increasingly, building Generative BI applications that let stakeholders explore and interrogate data on their own. We approach AI the same way we approach data quality: with clear standards, human accountability at every consequential decision, and a commitment to getting it right before it influences the business. Beyond our own workflows, our role is evolving to ensure 1Password has the data foundations, governance, and structure its broader AI transformation depends on. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - 5+ years in analytics within complex B2B SaaS environments, ideally in a product-led or self-serve motion. B2C or hybrid B2B/B2C experience is a plus - Strong PLG and customer lifecycle expertise, including activation, PQLs, cohort analysis, retention, churn, expansion, and growth modeling - Experience partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Growth stakeholders and translating open-ended business questions into analytical frameworks - Ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear recommendations and communicate them to senior leaders, influencing decisions and priorities - Experience with experimentation (A/B testing), statistical modeling, or predictive techniques (e.g., churn or propensity modeling) in a business context - Advanced SQL and strong experience with large-scale analytical datasets, including product usage and event data - Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools (Hex, Omni, Claude, Dust, or similar) - Comfort in modern cloud data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt - Experience working with GTM and customer platforms such as Salesforce and a CS platform (Gainsight, or similar). Familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Segment, or similar) is a plus What you can expect: - The opportunity to do meaningful analytics work across adoption, retention, expansion, and digital success in a fast-moving, product-led SaaS environment - Close partnership with Customer Success stakeholders and a direct line to leadership on the growth levers that matter most, contributing to how the organization measures performance and makes day-to-day decisions - Involvement in building the data foundations and analytical standards that Customer Success and 1Password's broader AI capabilities will depend on - Exposure to how AI gets applied in customer analytics, including Generative BI and AI-assisted workflows across forecasting, anomaly detection, and insight generation - Cross-functional collaboration across Customer Success, Product, Growth, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data teams - An environment where there's a lot to build and your contributions will have real impact, ideal for someone who is eager to grow, take ownership, and make their mark USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $122,000 USD and $171,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $105,000 CAD and $147,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We're looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology-including AI-to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged-it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. This approach extends to our hiring process-candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
