We are currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor to fulfill customer requirements with outstanding customer service and engagement. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism.
Position Summary

The Senior Cybersecurity Advisor provides strategic cybersecurity leadership and advisory support to executive stakeholders responsible for enterprise security, risk management, and mission assurance. This position supports the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, risk management processes, and security architectures that protect enterprise systems and enable mission operations. The advisor serves as a key resource for cybersecurity policy, compliance, zero trust implementation, and executive decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Advise executive leadership on enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, policy, and risk management priorities.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance actions aligned with mission and national security requirements.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity risk management activities, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authorization to Operate (ATO), reciprocity initiatives, control selection, and continuous monitoring strategies.
  • Advise on zero trust architecture planning and implementation, including identity management, network segmentation, encryption, secure access, and related security principles.
  • Support the development and enhancement of enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on incident response planning, cyber preparedness, vulnerability management programs, and security operations improvements.
  • Advise on security monitoring strategies and capabilities to strengthen organizational cyber resilience.
  • Integrate cybersecurity considerations into system development lifecycles, DevSecOps pipelines, acquisition planning, and security-by-design initiatives.
  • Develop cybersecurity metrics, dashboards, executive reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity activities and recommendations across multiple organizations and stakeholder groups.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience advising executive leadership on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management for large, complex enterprises.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and concepts, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST SP 800-53, Zero Trust Architecture, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience supporting and improving Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes and reciprocity initiatives.
  • Experience developing cybersecurity policies, standards, implementation guidance, and governance processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive briefing skills.
  • Ability to assess cybersecurity risks and develop strategic recommendations for enterprise environments.
  • Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following combinations of education and experience:
  • Master's degree in Business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or a related field, and 6 years of relevant experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or a related field, and 8 years of relevant experience; OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience overseeing or advising incident response planning, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations.
  • Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) concepts and capabilities.
  • Experience integrating cybersecurity requirements into acquisition planning, system engineering, and DevSecOps environments.
  • Experience promoting security-by-design principles across enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience briefing senior executives and presenting cybersecurity recommendations to leadership forums.
  • Experience coordinating cybersecurity initiatives across multiple organizations, agencies, or stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or Federal cybersecurity environments and requirements.
