Senior Corporate Accountant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of total experience, ideally split between public accounting and industry.
• Understanding of GAAP standards.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with process improvement; proficient with spreadsheets.
• Hands-on experience in the financial close process is preferred.
• Experience with foreign entity accounting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.
• Record and reconcile accrual and prepaid transactions, including journal entries.
• Assist in compiling internal team requests and external audit requests.
• Research accounting issues and recommend best practices according to GAAP.
• Lead meetings with cross-department stakeholders.
• Partner with stakeholders on shared accounting priorities.
• Streamline data flow and processes across departments.
• Assist with system automation projects as needed.
