Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Core Java Engineer to design, develop, and support high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, distributed systems, backend engineering, and software design principles.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available Java-based applications.
Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices to support business-critical applications.
Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
Advocate and implement software engineering best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
Strong expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, collections, concurrency, and JVM internals.
Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
Experience working in highly regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 - 90,000.
