We're looking for a Senior Copywriter to help us craft our brand's strategies into remarkable, irresistible creative concepts and head-turning copy. In this role, you'll need to be a master of absorbing product knowledge and guest research-then translating it into human, evocative phrases and ideas that resonate with people across North America. If you become part of the team, you'll be bringing enthusiasm alongside your experience, and will be open to learning new ways of doing things, even as you explore new territories and methods for us as a team. You'll be working with one of the most talented internal design organizations anywhere. And you'll be operating in cooperation with both our incredible business partners and top-flight agencies to create moments of real impact.

Lastly, but not surprisingly, we're big on being active around here. So, expect an exercise class or two between meetings.

core responsibilities
  • Write clear, persuasive, original copy within our defined brand tone of voice-while helping us stretch that tone of voice in new directions.
  • Work in a close-knit creative partnership with the creative project team to generate and bring to life excellent concepts and ideas.
  • Formulate presentation decks for internal and external review.
  • Present effectively, both for internal creative and cross-functional project reviews.
  • Execute on campaigns from concept stage to completion, across all channels.
  • Understand the structure of a brand's identity-how the visual and verbal executions come together to create a holistic brand experience.
  • Be up to date with industry trends, including ground-breaking ideas, emerging technologies, and business solutions.
  • Provide effective direction through all phases of production-internally and with external partners.
  • Mentor and ideate with junior creative team members.
qualifications
  • A degree within a writing-based discipline (journalism, advertising, creative writing, etc.) preferred or 2 extra years' experience in lieu of a relevant degree.
  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working on national or global brands.
  • 2+ years of experience concepting for web, digital, mobile, social, experiential, and both traditional and emerging platforms.
  • Must have a portfolio of work demonstrating ideas and copy across various media.
  • Ability to write to a brand's tone of voice, and subtly flex that tone for message and medium.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands.
  • Demonstrated and extraordinary communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$88,200 - $115,800 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
