A Day in the Life
The Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist draws upon the deep knowledge and experience of Lean for Healthcare and other improvement methodologies in accomplishing assignments. The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist engages in a leadership role to lead or facilitate process improvement activities, initiatives and events throughout the healthcare system. They have demonstrated ability in Project Management, project planning and implementation, facilitation, data collection and analytics, A3 Thinking, Value Stream Analysis, Workflow Assessments, and the use of Lean and other improvement tools. The Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist understands the Munson Alignment Framework and Operating System. Much of the work is self-directed and varies in both subject matter and team composition. They can work with individuals or teams and oftentimes serve as trainer, coach or mentor and may direct the work of others.
