BerryDunn is seeking a Senior Consultant/Project Manager to join our State Government Practice Group, focused on serving our state Health and Human Services (HHS) agency clients. As a Senior Consultant, you will have the right mix of demonstrated project management skills and experience, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership and client-facing capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
You will have 4+ years of experience working with and/or for state government agencies responsible for HHS programs (e.g., Supplemental Food AssistanceProgram [SNAP], Temporary Assistance for Needy Families [TANF], Child Support, and Child Care), and you will be comfortable working in many different environments within state government. You will oversee BerryDunn projects teams consisting of business analysts, and technical analysts and be responsible for developing deliverables for information technology (IT) systems planning and procurement (e.g., needs assessment, requirements development, request for proposal [RFP] development), systems implementation, independent verification & validation (IV&V), quality assurance (QA)/testing, and similar IT projects.
IT and management consulting experience is preferred, and the right candidate will be comfortable working with clients on IT-related projects. Experience with business development (e.g., writing proposals) and staff development is a plus.
You will be based in one of our physical office locations or remotely, and you will report to the HHS Practice Area Lead Principal.
Travel expectations: Up to 50% travel to client sites nationwide, potential work in the US territories.
You WillThe base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000 - 135,000. This salary range represents BerryDunns good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
