Full Job Description
As a Senior, you will collaborate with our team and government personnel to support our client's financial statement management by completing account reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Every day, you will: • Perform financial statement line-item account reconciliations in accordance with Agency Guidelines using Excel and Access, with working knowledge of the U.S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL) • Suggest improvements for our client's accounting processes • Produce quality and timely work products • Identify differences and propose system corrections between the Financial System and sub-modules and General Ledger Qualifications To thrive in this role, you need three years of experience supporting Federal clients with accounting procedures, focusing on financial statement reconciliations or financial statement audits. In addition, the following qualifications are required: • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, preferably accounting • Advanced Excel skills • Security Clearance: Must have an immediate completed background Level 5 or higher investigation in the last 4 Years (Public Trust) • Oracle R12 Financial or similar Federal COTS Package experience
