Senior Construction Estimator
Location: Boston, MA
We're seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to lead the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates for construction projects in the Boston area. You'll collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to assess project requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decisions from preconstruction through project award.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates.
Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to establish scope and identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies.
Develop quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids.
Develop and maintain estimating assumptions, clarifications, exclusions, and scope documentation.
Coordinate with project teams and design partners to explore value-engineering options and cost-saving strategies.
Present estimates, budgets, and pricing recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
