Full Job Description
Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Connectivity Partnership Manager who will manage Geotab's strategic relationships with global telecommunications carriers and connectivity platforms, and drive continuous cost optimization across Geotab's connectivity spend. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:

As a Senior Connectivity Partnership Manager your key area of responsibility will be managing global carrier relationships, leading connectivity procurement and RFPs, driving cost optimization across connectivity spend, and supporting mobility and logistics carrier management. You will need to work closely with Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, as well as external MNOs, MVNOs, 3PL providers, and freight forwarders. To be successful in this role you will be a proactive self-starter with strong analytical rigor, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a continuous learning mindset toward emerging technologies. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong procurement and SLA management skills, with an ability to conduct complex cost-benefit analyses, manage carrier contracts, and handle cross-functional collaboration effectively.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Drive IoT carrier strategy by building MNO/MVNO relationships, leading RFPs to reduce cost-per-SIM, managing SIM lifecycles with Engineering, monitoring SLA performance, optimizing data plans/transitions, and tracking tech trends.
  • Oversee freight forwarder, courier, and 3PL commercial relationships through rate comparisons, agreement negotiations, performance tracking, operational escalations, and customs/trade lane compliance.
  • Support carrier partnerships for fleet mobility programs, collaborating with Engineering and Product to translate technical requirements into commercial terms, SLAs, multi-carrier strategies, and market intelligence briefings.
  • Lead cost management initiatives by delivering an annual carrier savings pipeline, managing budgets, conducting variance analyses, and benchmarking TCO across device, shipment, and program levels.
  • Administer carrier contracts, maintaining databases, managing renewal calendars, drafting redlines, and ensuring legal and compliance standards across all carrier agreements.
What you'll bring to the role:

  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain focused on carrier, telecom, or connectivity procurement, with 8+ years of hands-on experience managing carrier relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Working knowledge of cellular IoT connectivity models, SIM/eSIM lifecycle management, MNO/MVNO commercial structures, and aggregator platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end carrier RFP processes, negotiate terms, manage SLAs, and execute logistics/freight carrier agreements.
  • Proficiency in cost analysis, carrier benchmarking, spend reporting using tools like Excel or Power BI, and hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., D365, SAP).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, contract administration, and analytical skills to prepare executive-ready briefings and drive carrier savings pipelines.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, MCIPS, or GSMA/TM Forum credentials are considered an asset.

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
